<description>Hello to everyone in Blogging and Business. I am Laurie Larocque and I&#039;m in the part-time MBA program at Northeastern. I also work at Northeastern in the International Student &amp; Scholar Institute. I have selected this course because I know that blogging is one of the next big things that will probably eventually have more of an effect on all of us than it does at this moment (just as the importance of the Internet has grown to be an important phenomenon since it was created), but I have very limited knowledge of blogs and blogging. One of the class readings mentioned that some people cannot imagine spending valuable time in their rushed schedule on reading and writing blogs. I am in this category at this point, but of course several years ago, I could not imagine anyone wanting to shop online rather than going to a store, but now I shop online all the time. So technology changes and changes the way we can and want to do things over time. I look forward to the class.
